Brett is gone, but Vince is back! Our first show of the new season is “Vince: The Life and Times of Vince Lombardi” on September 13th at 7:00 pm. John Pinero’s critically acclaimed one man play pays tribute to a true Packer legend. Pinero has been a keynote speaker at both the Pro Football and Packer Halls of Fame. Reviews have hailed his portrayal of Lombardi as “thoughtful, provocative, and entertaining”. The show is sponsored by Silvercryst Supper Club, Weekly Timber & Pulp, and WAUH Radio, 102.3 FM.
Get back into your fall football frenzy with this incredible tribute to a true Packer legend! A special tail-gate beach party at Silvercryst is also being offered prior to the show. Tickets are only $20 for adults - $14 for students - or $30 for the tailgate party and show.
There are only a few weeks left to purchase season tickets. Our special 2008-09 season ticket price for eight shows is only $132 – a 20% savings. You can also create your own package of any 4 shows and receive a 10% discount. Season brochures are available at most area businesses.
While our box office is usually open Monday through Friday, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, two weeks prior to each show, you can still leave a message to order tickets at any time by calling (920) 787-2189, or toll-free (888) 987-2189. We are already receiving positive comments from many of you expressing excitement about the great live entertainment line-up for our 2008-09 season which was recently announced. One patron commented that “I know that six of the eight performers are terrific, and I trust that the others will be just as good – I have to get season tickets!” While their enthusiasm and plans to purchase season tickets are wonderful, we value their trust that every show will be a quality performance even more.
Over 50 local businesses and organizations have recently demonstrated their trust in our mission to provide “opportunities for all people to appreciate the arts by providing a diverse selection of musical and theatrical performances” through their sponsorship and advertising. Their generosity is greatly appreciated, but it is the trust and support of individuals like you that is most critical to our success in meeting our community mission.
There are many ways that you can show your trust and support for your PAC:
• Volunteer at the PAC. Call our box office for more information.
• Purchase a gift certificate for any occasion and any amount. Gift certificates can be for a specific performance, or any show(s) of the recipient’s choice.
• Become a “Friend of The PAC” through a donation. Donor levels include Friends Club: $10-24, Associate Club: $25-49, Performer’s Club: $50-99, First Chair Club: $100-249, Concert Master Club: $250-499, or Conductor Club: $500 or more. Checks should be payable to McComb/Bruchs PAC and sent to PO Box 1137 Wautoma, WI 54982.
• Purchase season tickets. Our special 2008-09 season ticket price for eight shows is only $132 – a 20% savings. You can also create your own package of any 4 shows and receive a 10% discount.
• Attend any show during our new season – there is something for everyone!
• Support the many fine school performances at your PAC throughout the year.

As Gomer Pyle said, “Surprise. Surprise, Surprise!” you might indeed be surprised by following information regarding your PAC:
• The farthest seat from the stage in the McComb.Bruchs PAC is only 50 feet away – where else can you find such terrific viewing?
• The seats in the last few rows are actually wider than those in the front!
• Ticket prices at your PAC are often up to 30% lower than those for the same shows at other performance halls across the state, this is made possible by our non-profit status and the generous support of businesses and individuals from throughout our area.
• While many people think that our show sponsors pay the entire cost for bringing performers to our community, their contributions primarily cover only the expenses involved in advertising and promotions.
• Our great facility has been home to hundreds of performances over the past 16 years – we are proud to be launching our 17th season! It seems like only a short time ago that ground was first broken to make the dreams of Ina McComb and Pearl Bruchs a reality.
• Over 25% of our advance ticket buyers last season chose to add a dinner package when it was offered. This season we are expanding our dinner package options with greater variety and offerings for six of our eight shows.
• We have a wonderful website available at www.mccombbruchspac.com where you can get a sneak preview of our 2008-09 season, find in-depth information on all of our shows, view a seating chart, and find links to our performers. Why not add it to your list of “favorites”?!
• Our special 2008-09 season ticket price for eight shows is only $132 – the price of only two shows at many other venues!
• While our box office is usually open Monday through Friday, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, two weeks prior to each show, you can still leave a message to order tickets at any time by calling (920) 787-2189, or toll-free (888) 987-2189.
• Area service groups, clubs, church organizations, or businesses that would like to hear a presentation about the great shows and ticket packages being offered in our new season can call 787-7193 to schedule a date.
We will be delighted (but not surprised!) to see you coming to your PAC next season for great live entertainment.
